This hands-on role reports to the Site Manager and is centered on exceeding customer expectations whilst also improving operational disciplines. Your leadership and professional experience will support the team to deliver outstanding results across Freight & Distribution, Warehousing, Inventory Management and Logistics administration tasks.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Ensure staff are operating and demonstrating the expected safety behaviours without risk to health, adhering to relevant SOP's etc.
- Manage direct reports in line with the requirements of the RAP Performance Management Plan to ensure optimum performance and compliance
- Optimise logistics planning and execution for all inbound and outbound product including support of external providers (3PL), customers and import/export as required.
- Ensure optimum warehousing, logistics and freight arrangements are in place
- Manage the receipt, storage, delivery and distribution of site stock
- Ensure the ERP system is optimised and Logistics administration is accurate
- Report on a suite of Logistics KPI's monthly
- Identify, implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives eg. 5S
- Demonstrating safety leadership throughout the site
The key skills required for this role include:
- Significant Logistics / warehouse / distribution management experience gained within a manufacturing based industry with 24/7 demands.
- Experience in the control of and reduction of Supply chain costs and overhead management.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of the application of relevant software programs / ERP systems
- Highly developed Logistics skills in a manufacturing environment.
