We are assisting our client in recruiting a Warehouse Pick/Packer. The client operates an Australian wholesale company based in Hornsby. The company is owner-operated and distributes medical supplies.
They have too much work and need an experienced Pick/Packer to assist them with the possibility of the job becoming permanent.
They are looking for someone who will fit into their team. There is some heavy lifting involved, so you need to be fit and strong.
General warehouse duties include unloading containers, picking and packing goods for dispatch, and keeping the workplace safe, clean, and tidy.
They don't have a forklift and pick from paper picklists.
Their warehouse is close to public transport.
On offer is a casual position, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. This will become permanent on above award wages once you settle in, prove you are keen, fit in well with the team and able to work with minimum supervision.
To be considered, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold a PR visa.
