We are now on the lookout for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Supply Chain team in Morley, WA on a full-time basis.
About the role:
The Warehouse Supervisor’s role is primarily to oversee the picking of orders, stock put-away and raw materials, all while ensuring staff are working efficiently and safely. They will also be involved in the planning of interstate, shuttle, and metro load outs.
This involves giving staff guidance and training on a day-to-day basis when necessary to optimize the completion of tasks. Furthermore, when the workload is high the Warehouse Supervisor is required to assist with picking orders and stock put-away to ensure the day’s work is completed on time.About you:
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following:
Basic Microsoft Office skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills.
High level time management and organisational planning skills.
Able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
Previous experience in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing and/or FMCG industry.
Competency in the use of a Warehouse Management System.
Knowledge of food manufacturing practices and experience in HACCP based QA.
Experience using Pronto.
Training and Assessing or Train the Trainer skill set.
Current Valid Driver’s License.
Australian Forklift Ticket.
Certificate IV in Lean Manufacturing (or working towards).
Current and valid Apply First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
Our ideal candidate will have:
A strong administration background, ideally within an engineering/maintenance role (may also be suited for someone looking to get off the tools and work in admin).
Highly organised and capable to prioritise own workload to meet divisional stock requirements.
Understanding of manufacturing / fixed plant machinery and parts is highly desirable but on the job training can be provided.
Experience in purchasing stock, inventory of stock and general warehousing.
Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills across varying people demographics.
Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word & Excel) Pronto experience is highly desired.
Valid manual driver's license and full Australian work rights.
