Your responsibilities will include:
You will be expected to implement and maintain best practice logistics and warehousing support for multiple customers. You will be responsible for the end to end warehousing of Aeronautical and Non-Aeronautical product within the Romeo Through Life Support program, including establishing and maintaining stockholder relationships.
As the Team Lead for the Logistics Warehouse, you will be responsible for the Defence warehouse and inventory operations complying with Commonwealth Governance polices.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Day to day tasking of Warehouse Officers
- Promote OH&S requirements
- Direct interaction with the customer (as applicable)
- Investigation of non-conformance reports (as applicable)
- Allocates resources and equipment to meet operational requirements
- Monitoring and controlling access to authorised personnel
- Ensuring stock is positively controlled in a Defence governed warehouse
- Using ERP systems to accurately issue, deliver and receipt
- Investigating and interrogation of ERP systems
- Accurate stocktaking management
- Rotating Roster with shift requirements, ability to be on call
About you:
You will have strong decision making and organisation skills, and be able to demonstrate your proven leadership skills. You will have proven experience in a similar role and environment.
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Expert level of experience within a warehousing position
- Computer literacy with an ability to produce and interpret complex reports and information
- Forklift/High Risk Work Environment experience
- IATA Dangerous Goods experience
Special Requirements:
Applicants are required to be able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Force security clearance.
