What your new role entails:
- Lead our Warehouse Team to deliver results, driving continuous improvements in Safety, Service and Productivity
- Manage operational labour performance on a day-to-day basis, and take action to ensure targets are consistently achieved
- Recruit, induct, onboard and train all newly hired employees
- Coach, mentor and drive performance of the Warehouse Team by providing clearly defined tasks and feedback
- Conduct performance development planning with all direct reports and identify opportunities for career development and succession planning
- Actively participate to ensure a safe working environment for all, monitoring and reporting on Work Health & Safety compliance
What you’ll bring with you:
- 2+ years experience in a fast paced Team Leader or supervisory role essential
- Warehouse experience and/or exposure to industrial products preferred
- Forklift licence and high reach experience essential
- Experience with performance management and driving a team to successful outcomes required
- Resolution and results focused, self motivated, and can prioritise and problem solve efficiently
- Good computer/MS Suite skills are critical to this role, and previous experience with MS Dynamics highly regarded
