This is a highly rewarding but challenging role located in the Mount Waverley Office within the busy Metro South/West Area Service and Warranty team.
Reporting to the Area Warranty Manager, your responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain a motivated team and good working environment where honesty, openness and support for each other is demonstrated
Set the direction for your team and ensure your staff work together to achieve department and company objectives
Maintain and manage an industry best practice Customer Management system which focuses on proactively managing the customer relationship for all Metricon customers
Ensure that we maintain the highest standard of customer service with every interaction we have with the customer
Ensure that we engage the responsible contractors or suppliers to rectify faulty or incomplete works required wherever possible; and
Ensure that we are engaging customer focused competent, reliable and honest contractors to carry out all associated works.

The successful candidate will have: Completion of relevant tertiary education e.g. Building/Construction Diploma is desirable
Extensive trade and building background
Experience (10+ years) in the building industry (preferably in the volume new home service & warranty environment)An understanding of statutory building regulations & requirements
Knowledge of project management systems
Previous experience working with and implementing quality assurance systems to Australian Codes, Standards & Tolerances; and
Highly developed PC skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
