This is a highly rewarding but challenging role located in the Mount Waverley Office within the busy Metro South/West Area Service and Warranty team.
Reporting to the Area Warranty Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain a motivated team and good working environment where honesty, openness and support for each other is demonstrated
- Set the direction for your team and ensure your staff work together to achieve department and company objectives
- Maintain and manage an industry best practice Customer Management system which focuses on proactively managing the customer relationship for all Metricon customers
- Ensure that we maintain the highest standard of customer service with every interaction we have with the customer
- Ensure that we engage the responsible contractors or suppliers to rectify faulty or incomplete works required wherever possible; and
- Ensure that we are engaging customer focused competent, reliable and honest contractors to carry out all associated works.

- Completion of relevant tertiary education e.g. Building/Construction Diploma is desirable
- Extensive trade and building background
- Experience (10+ years) in the building industry (preferably in the volume new home service & warranty environment)
- An understanding of statutory building regulations & requirements
- Knowledge of project management systems
- Previous experience working with and implementing quality assurance systems to Australian Codes, Standards & Tolerances; and
- Highly developed PC skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
