Warranty Manager - Power Generators

Managing day to day warranty related tasks for a leader in global power equipment supplier

A normal day includes managing day to day warranty related tasks and resolving issues in timely manner
being responsible for end to end process such as reporting issues back to the manufacturing plant and facilitating in root cause analysis,
ensuring that corrective actions has been taken in respective areas to avoid reoccurrences.
Monitoring and supporting Electricians with technical support and allocating specific onsite jobs.
Providing periodical updates to all relevant factory departments.
Monitoring, managing and maintaining warranty queue.
This role requires both technical and administrative skills to effectively manage warranty related tasks. It's a role that is pivotal to maintaining the good name of your employer.You'll be responsible for;
Allocating various tasks to electricians.
Liaise with the Warranty team to track the status of their tasks and ensure communication with customers is completed in a timely manner
Engage with the sales team and key customers to keep them abreast of any issues
Resolve complex warranty issues by following end to end process guidelines and report status on a regular basis to the headoffice.
Attend Quality meetings with the manufacturing plant, provide feedback/updates to relevant department internally and externally and lead product improvement requirements when necessary.
Engage external contractors to carry out on-site maintence/repairs including issuing purchase orders and reviewing costs
Seek approval for contractor’s invoices and submit for payment processing
Manage and maintain warranty budget and relevant KPI’s
Recouping warranty related expenditures by submitting charge back claims to all manufacturing plants
Raising invoices for agreed charge back claims with relevant manufacturing plant

They also manufacturer, design, produce and distribute a number of products including diesel and gas generators, air compressors and other power equipment.
You'll need
Mechanical or Electrical qualifications or equivalent tertiary degree/background.
Ideally, someone with generator experience,
Mandarin speaking will be beneficial however not necessary
Hands on ability to rectify issues.
Have some experience working in a cross functional team
Good communication skills
Proven experience in managing client relationships
