A well established company in the Sand Extraction and Processing industry is seeking to employ a Sand Wash Plant Operator to work within their experienced and close knit team in the Bass Coast area.
The Company operates multiple Sand Quarries and a new “state of the art” sand processing facility, all in close proximity to each other.
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated operator to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our Sand Washing Plant.
About You
- Are you self-motivated and reliable?
- Do you have a mechanical interest/aptitude?
- Are you able to make decisions on the hop?
- Are you physically fit and team orientated?
- Hungry to learn a new skill?
It would be an advantage, however not a requirement,
if you were familiar with.
- The production of washed sand
- Operating a Front-End Loader
- SCADA operating systems
About the role
You will be trained in;
- Processing Washed Sand from its raw state to meet specification.
- Moisture, clay/silt content testing and performing particle size distribution analysis.
- Coordinating the feed of raw materials.
- Safe operation of all equipment.
- Daily record and housekeeping.
- Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement.
