We are currently seeking a Wedding & Special Events Executive to join our team.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Business Development, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Selling and coordinating all weddings and Special Events, by collaborating closely with clients, conducting site visits, and meticulously preparing event orders and floor plans.
- Maximizing sales revenue targets, while ensuring each event reaches its full potential.
- Providing comprehensive sales quotations promptly.
- Following up diligently with prospective clients, sending proposals, and ensuring their satisfaction to secure bookings.
- Facilitating seamless communication between the Conference and Events Sales Office and other hotel departments, ensuring smooth execution of every event.
- Assisting with financial aspects related to events, such as preparing and processing conference and event accounts, ensuring accurate invoicing, and reconciling payments in a timely manner.
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients throughout the event planning process, from initial inquiries to post-event follow-up, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded at every stage.
- Handling any customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and efficiency, resolving issues promptly to maintain positive guest relationships.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the guest experience and improve financial outcomes.
To be considered for this role you need to:
- Experience in a similar role in five-star establishment
- A team orientated mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with our clients, kitchen staff, suppliers, and vendors to deliver excellence.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Master multitasker with impeccable attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including shifts on weekends and Public Holidays
- National police clearance
