About the Role
You will be working within the Event Sales team and effectively use solution driven, proactive sales processes and protocols to secure and convert both residential and catering only events that increase market share and achieve key revenue targets at Hyatt Regency Perth.
This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your professional Sales & Marketing career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas.
Main Responsibilities
- Attend to function enquires collating essential client details and event requirements
- Solicit repeat, new and referral business to achieve targets, budgets and goals set
- Maintain food and beverage costs per function within the guidelines set aiming for the highest possible profit.
- Accurately monitor and action “To Do List” in Envision, follow-up on tentative bookings, deposits and any free traces
- Record lost or turned-down businesses with appropriate reasons and revenue in Envision.
- Conduct site inspections, familiarisation and promotions as required
- Relevant work experience in the same or similar role in hotel and or private member club setting
- Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management
- Must be dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate in attitude and approach
