Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Weighbridge Administrator at our Moree Cotton Gin. You will be responsible for providing impeccable customer service and the accurate operation of the weighbridge, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep of the Weighbridge. You will be supporting our team as the primary point of contact on-site, overseeing inbound & outbound materials, and assisting with administrative tasks.
During the ginning season, additional hours and weekend work will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Professional liaison and communication with a range of visitors, suppliers, staff and drivers
- Accurately and timely collection, recording & processing of data and information
- Highly proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Reporting on weighbridge activities as required
- Deliver a high level of administration services
- Maintain the electronic weighbridge system program to ensure continuity of flow
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services regarding gin runs and all things related to grower information.
Essential skills:
- Demonstrated experience in contract administration and weighbridge operations
- Demonstrated experience in ability to manage time and data effectively
- Practical experience in customer service
- Full understanding of weighbridge documentation requirements and factors impacting duty of care.
Desired skills:
- Exposure to commodity logistics, accounts receivable, stock reconciliation and/or bulk commodity handling
- Understanding of weighbridge operation and associated documentation
- Accounts, invoice experience
