Job Description:WHAT WE OFFER- Casual shutdown role located at multiple sites across the Gladstone QLD region. Sites include Power Stations and industrial sites.
- Mid May commencement date, with an approximant 4 - 8 weeks of scheduled work, depending on the shutdown.
- Monday to Saturday roster, 11 hr shifts - days & nights available.
- EA rates $65.48 p/h + $3.42 site allowance + penalties, 25% loading paid on all overtime worked.
- LAFHA or accommodation provided to distant workers.
Our Industrial & Energy business has opportunities for casual
Welders Special Class to work on multiple sites across the Gladstone, Queensland region. You will provide your expertise in welding within a maintenance or shutdown environment ensuring that work is completed safely, effectively and to the required standard.
ABOUT YOU- Hold a Certificate 7 - Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) or AS1796 Welder Certification combined with work history of pressure welding and TIG welding on boilers and shutdown maintenance at Power Stations.
- Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Hold an Industry White Card and Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets (2-year validity).
- Willingness to undertake a 3 site Medipass.
