Access the
- Lead the development, coordination and implementation of strategic psychosocial risk management and employee mental health and wellbeing controls across the organisation, to enhance and continuously improve psychosocial safety and employee mental health and wellbeing.
- Provide authoritative strategic advice to executives and senior leaders on the development and implementation of the department's controls and response to managing the risks of psychosocial hazards.
- Develop and implement a program of work in accordance with the department's strategy, policies, systems, and procedures and whole of sector frameworks.
- Build and sustain professional relationships with stakeholders across the department, including senior officers, and collaborate with the Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) team to influence a positive safety culture with a focus on managing the risk of psychosocial hazards.
- Provide contemporary subject matter expertise in the development and review of policies, procedures, learning programs and other materials relating to psychosocial risk management, with the view to continuous improvement.
- Identify emerging issues, risks, and priorities that may impact project and/or program delivery and proactively respond with strategies to address these impacts.
- Drive and coordinate the preparation of submissions, reports, briefs and other correspondence on significant employee psychosocial safety, mental health and wellbeing matters.
- Demonstrate accountable leadership including modelling a respectful and inclusive approach and a commitment to build mentally healthy, psychologically safe workplaces.
