As a new branch of an already established and respected Australian business of over 50 years, our entry into the wholesale jewellery arena in Australia is being met with much excitement from buying groups and businesses alike and we need a sparkly diamond guru with B2B experience to help grow it into something spectacular!
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Product and Finance, our Wholesale Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in managing key accounts, building lasting relationships, and uncovering new opportunities in Jewellery Trade Shows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a new B2B sales program, ensuring a high level of performance and engagement.
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in B2B
- Target Setting and Achievement: Establish challenging sales targets in line with company goals and work collaboratively with teams
- Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with the jeweller network through Jewellery Buying Groups; oversee and drive new opportunities with jewellers, brands, and programs.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges; prepare and present regular sales reports.
- Sales Process Optimisation: Continuously review and improve sales processes and tactics for enhanced efficiency and optimization.
We think you'd be great for this role if you have:
- Strong Fine Jewelry and Diamonds experience
- Wholesale B2B Experience with an established network and connection with jewelry retailers across the country
- 3+ years’ experience in direct B2B sales
- Eager to participate in Jewellery Trade Shows in Australia, and internationally
- Proactively seek new business and sales opportunities
- Proven account management experience
- Strong communication and relational skills
- Current open driver's license; willingness to travel
- Financial analysis proficiency
