WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a well-rounded, capable, and savvy sales driven professional who has relative experience and an approach that optimises business partnering, communication and team, backed up with well-developed hard skills.
THE JOB
This position is ultimately responsible for providing a best-in-class service level and achieving the required sales outcomes for the Salco Group.
Engaging with all divisions of the business, and anchored in data driven decisions, the role should deliver growth in existing revenues and margins, as well as activate new opportunities across the brand and customer scope.
This role will manage all key sales channels for Ben Sherman in Aus/NZ, Sales Agents and input into the broader sales opportunities including DTC channels.
The role will be responsible for the:
- Selling of wholesale ranges for bricks and mortar and online channels
- Business Partner management and follow up with buyers and planners
- Maintenance and growth within existing accounts
- Scouting and development of new business
- Sales communication and updates - Supplying weekly sell through data and commentary for ASR and Seasonal ranges
- Cost management – The ability to adhere to framework and budgets and manage advertising and markdown expenditures
- Inventory management – Actively assessing and managing optimal and balanced levels within the right stock categories
WHAT SKILLS AND COMPREHENTION DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
- A demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive profitable and sustainable growth
- An exposure to ERP systems ideally AP21 or similar along with a Microsoft Excel and Outlook competency
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- A high level of organisational and time management skills
- The ability and want to lead a high performing and achieving team
- Data creation, analysis, and distribution - A keen eye for detail with the ability to highlight potential issues, gaps, and opportunities
- Exposure to Department Store buying and planning environments and processes is crucial
- A passion and energy for the wholesale and retail fashion industry
