About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated WHS Advisor to support our contracting services division and lead the way in championing safety awareness and WHS in our workplace.
As a predominately site based WHS Advisor, you will actively support, coach, mentor and provide HSE advice to our teams.
- Undertake on-site tasks observations and safety conversations.
- Undertake site inspections of Subcontractors.
- Contribute to shaping our culture through high levels of WHS engagement.
- Monitor performance against clear goals and expectations, tracking progress, ensuring timely feedback, providing appropriate support, and addressing deficiencies promptly.
- Undertake risk assessments for our activities and worksites.
- Support, change, and embed a situational awareness and critical risk control culture in shaping behaviours and attitudes, ensuring that concepts and adaptive behaviours are integrated into every aspect of our operations.
About You
- Recent and relevant experience in a similar role.
- Certificate IV WHS as a minimum.
- Cert IV Trainer and Assessor certificate is desirable
- ICAM investigations skills and competency
- An understanding and working knowledge of WHS practices and current legislation
- Competent with Microsoft Office and other software packages.
