They are seeking a dedicated WHS Consultant to join their team on a  minimum one-month ongoing contract basis, with extension based on performance and organizational needs. This is an immediate start position with hybrid working arrangements, offering full-time or part-time options to accommodate flexible working schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive audit and gap analysis on the school's safety processes, systems, and procedures.
• Collate findings from the audit and gap analysis to provide a detailed report outlining areas of improvement and corrective actions required.
• Report back to the school administration and relevant stakeholders on the identified gaps and proposed corrective measures.
• Drive the implementation of corrective actions through stakeholder engagement, collaboration, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures and provide support and guidance to ensure continuous improvement in WHS practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WHS Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of WHS legislation, regulations, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough audits and gap analyses, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong project management skills, with the capability to drive initiatives from planning through to implementation and evaluation.
• Relevant qualifications in WHS or a related field will be highly regarded.
