They are seeking a dedicated WHS Consultant to join their team on a minimum one-month ongoing contract basis, with extension based on performance and organizational needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive audit and gap analysis on the school's safety processes, systems, and procedures.
- Collate findings from the audit and gap analysis to provide a detailed report outlining areas of improvement and corrective actions required.
- Report back to the school administration and relevant stakeholders on the identified gaps and proposed corrective measures.
- Drive the implementation of corrective actions through stakeholder engagement, collaboration, training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures and provide support and guidance to ensure continuous improvement in WHS practices.
- Proven experience as a WHS Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of WHS legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough audits and gap analyses, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills, with the capability to drive initiatives from planning through to implementation and evaluation.
- Relevant qualifications in WHS or a related field will be highly regarded.
