The Role
The WHS Manager will operationally lead and direct in the design and implementation of safety and environmental strategy across the business in Australia. You will provide guidance to the board, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and across a multi-disciplinary organisation. Balancing this by being a visible safety leader and being at the forefront of the organisation. You will provide guidance and support to one direct report.
About you
- Tertiary safety qualifications with relevant work experience in related discipline.
- Demonstrated successful experience in managing and leading teams operationally.
- Extensive knowledge and experience managing a broad range of Health, Safety, and environmental responsibilities across a complex white-collar business.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing process improvement and system optimisation strategies to deliver organisational compliance and efficiency.
- An operational safety leader, customer focus, accountability.
