AddressMIZCO is a market leader in the BMS and HVAC Industry and been established for over 30 years. A position has now become available for the services of an experienced Workplace Health and Safety Officer.
Position description includes the following:
- Develop company WHSE management plans, manuals, policies and guidelines, and ensure these are implemented.
- Responsibility for the internal audit of the company management system.
- Work with external certifying bodies to gain and maintain company accreditation.
- Communicate safety, health and environment management information effectively.
- Mentor all supervisory staff with their respective roles in WHSE.
- Ensure that safety plans are continuously reviewed and maintained in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
- Review analysis of safety and hazard statistical data.
- Conduct risk reviews of tasks and equipment requirements.
- Review and assess contract documentation.
- Review and participate in site safety inspections, audits and investigations.
- Review and participate in the training of staff to ensure effective WHSE implementation.
- Setting up and being a part of WHSE meeting and programs where required. Chair the OHSE meetings and participate heavily in company wide Toolbox Talks.
Current WA Driver’s Licence and police clearance will be necessary for this position.
