WHS Outreach Officer - Anglicare

Anglican Diocesan Services (ADS) provides corporate services to Anglicare NSW South, NSW West and ACT (Anglicare).

We seek a dedicated WHS Outreach Officer to join our Risk and Compliance Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity for a workplace health and safety professional to support Anglicare with the following key responsibilities:

• Promote the development of a safety culture
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WHS legislation, policies, and guidelines
• Advise workers on WHS matters and legislative requirements
• Provide training, consultation, and support for compliance with WHS standards
• Lead site visits, inspections, and safety assurance programs
• Develop and maintain WHS systems, presentation materials, and reports.

What you need to succeed

• WHS qualification and/or experience
• Ability to understand, apply, and communicate WHS processes and requirements
• Experience with implementing WHS Management Systems and facilitating inspections
• Commitment to / support for the mission and purpose of the Anglican Church
