Our Government is seeking an experience Windows System Administartor to join their team for a long term opportunity within a secure working environment.

SFIA Skils required for this role are as follows;

• ASUP 4
• SYSP 4
• RELM 4
• HSIN 4
• PBMG 4
• SCAD 3

Major Responsibilities

• Install, configure and sustain applications (monitor, test and apply patches and upgrades for) to ensure system integrity and security, adhere to change management processes in coordinating outages.  Diagnose and resolve system and environment problems; implement break-fixes for diverse customers from individual users to system stakeholders, with a focus on creation of self-healing capabilities and automated testing, builds, deployment and provisioning of services for customers.
• Configure, upgrade and extend applications to integrate additional customer requirements and support demand growth, and contributing to continual improvement of team release management.
• Investigate and resolve access control and data security concerns, record investigation steps and outcomes as directed, configure and implement system features and fixes to resolve security issues and maintain good security, escalate to management as necessary.

Key Experience required

• Experience with installation and configuration of Open Source and/or COTS software, building and improving automated deployment and support processes through the use of scripting, CI/CD and orchestration tools
• Windows server administration experience in a virtualisation environment
• Back-end administration experience of any of the following Microsoft products: SharePoint Server, System Centre Suite, Azure DevOps Server
