Ecommerce Specialist
Role Overview
As the Ecommerce Specialist for this growing omni-channel retailer, Aura Home, you will play a pivotal role in driving our online growth and enhancing the overall digital shopping experience for our customers.
The Ecommerce Specialist is tasked with managing the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce platform. This role involves overseeing all facets of website functionality, product merchandising and promotional campaigns, ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Magento2 Ecommerce platform ensuring optimal user experience (includes product creation & updates, merchandising, content management, promotional campaigns and troubleshooting technical issues).
- Collaborate with team to source, manage and update product information and merchandising
- Utilise web analytics to monitor site performance drive conversion and enhance customer experience including SEO, UI/UX, best practices
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, new product creation and pricing updates on the site
- Make data-driven merchandising decisions to continually enhance the customer journey and site experience.
- Work with with developers, SEO agency and coordinate technical upgrades/tickets
- Regular reporting on site performance
- Manage operations on 3rd party marketplace sites and affiliate programs
- Identify opportunities for improvement across marketing channels to meet forecasts
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, operations and customer experience
- Proficiency in Magento2 and Excel/Google Sheets
- Knowledge of Web analytics (GA/GA4), SEO, Writing Content, Jira, HTML (desirable)
- Experience with Marketing tools incl Klaviyo and Yotpo (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data, provide insights and drive improvements
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
- Passion for ecommerce, innovation, attention to detail and efficient delivery
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities effectively
