Beaumont People have been retained by Lifeline Australia, an organisation that actively saves the lives of vulnerable people across Australia.
Lifeline have a healthy project book, upgrading and enhancing their technology assets, whilst maintaining their critical BAU functions. You’ll be working in a team with 4-5 other engineers, undertaking a business-critical role that is responsible for the maintenance, installation, configuration and security of their enterprise Windows Systems.
This is an immediate need, so whilst a preference will be given for candidates available right now, we’re still focussing on the skills/culture of the person. Team fit is so important to Lifeline, the ability to thrive in a busy environment (with a fully supportive manager), to learn new technologies (as no one can know it all) and to enjoy the work and have fun delivering.
Initially offered as a 12-month Fixed Term Hire, with the plan to review potential permanent employment over the next year.
Hybrid working, office 2 days a week (Sydney CBD), WFH for the rest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, install, configure, build & maintain secure Windows infrastructure.
- Sound knowledge of VMware, vSphere etc.
- Support Exchange, Active Directory & Backups.
- SCCM/MECM.
- PowerShell automation.
- Patching and documentation.
- General systems admin.
- Participate in on call roster as required (1 in 6 weeks when escalations are required).
- A minimum of 5 years Windows Sys Admin from a complex site background.
- The capacity to work independently as well as with a team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A Proactive attitude to team collaboration.
- 5 years minimum Windows Server.
- VMware, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting.
- Microsoft certifications.
