Women's Advocate/Fdv Support Worker

A number of positions are available including Women's Advocates and Support Workers in our refuges and outreach services: full-time, part time and casual. The positions are based in the south east corridor of Perth 

These positions work as part of a team under the Refuge and Outreach Services Coordinator to provide safety planning and support to victim survivors of family and domestic violence.   This includes:

1. Safely intaking women into the service
2. Supporting women and their children to meet their needs through case planning 
3. Providing accurate and relevant information referrals, resources and advocacy for clients.
4. Developing links with government and non-government agencies to support positive outcomes for clients.  
5. Providing practical supports, including transport, emergency relief etc
6. Maintaining accurate case notes and data reporting
