A number of positions are available including Women's Advocates and Support Workers in our refuges and outreach services: full-time, part time and casual. The positions are based in the south east corridor of Perth
These positions work as part of a team under the Refuge and Outreach Services Coordinator to provide safety planning and support to victim survivors of family and domestic violence. This includes:
- Safely intaking women into the service
- Supporting women and their children to meet their needs through case planning
- Providing accurate and relevant information referrals, resources and advocacy for clients.
- Developing links with government and non-government agencies to support positive outcomes for clients.
- Providing practical supports, including transport, emergency relief etc
- Maintaining accurate case notes and data reporting
