THE ROLE
In your position as a Wool Marketing and Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in the business by ensuring that customers receive optimal outcomes for their wool. Additionally, you will provide valuable advice, market information, and assistance to clients. Your responsibilities also include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure seamless functioning.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main responsibilities as Wool Marketing and Operations Managerwill include:
- Travelling to Sydney to conduct wool sales.
- Liaising with wool buyers.
- Valuing wool.
- Face to face communication with wool growers.
- Overseeing and being capable of completing admin duties.
- Communicating with wool classers.
- An understanding of wool logistics.
- Wool classing certificate is highly desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge and experience in sheep/wool or be from a sheep/wool background.
- Driver’s licence is essential.
- Forklift licence or willing to obtain one.
- Willing to travel.
- Prior experience in a management role would be advantageous.
The role is located within Central West NSW. There is a competitive remuneration package for candidates with the appropriate experience.
