An established Adelaide-based company in the electrical services sector is seeking a Work Coordinator to join their team. Since 2006, this company, employing around 20 South Australians, has been providing comprehensive electrical solutions to both residential and commercial clients. Their range of services includes, but is not limited to, installation and maintenance of lighting, power systems, smoke alarms, security lighting, and electric vehicle charging solutions. The team is known for their detailed and client-focused approach, making them a respected player in the industry.
Your new role
In the role of Work Coordinator, you will be essential in both project coordination and customer service. This role is not only about managing work orders and responding to customer inquiries but also extends to overseeing the ordering of materials for jobs, ensuring all projects are well-equipped and can progress without delays. Ensuring that projects are completed satisfactorily and on time will be a significant part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate outstanding communication, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record in a similar role, with a specific emphasis on efficiency in material procurement and resource management.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a coordination or similar role.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity within the electrical industry is a highly advantageous
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work well within a team
