About the Role

The Work Ready, Release Ready (WRRR) Employment Broker will oversee employer engagement and servicing for the Work Ready, Release Ready Program. The role will be responsible for securing job opportunities for participants of the program, who are transitioning into the community, after being incarcerated.

The role will require an experienced recruiter who is self-motivated and confident in undertaking the sales process with mainly small and medium employers. It will also require a team player, who is able to engage and work effectively with our Regional Account Managers, Employment Brokers and the WRRR team.

This position will be based at our Salisbury Site and is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis. You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week.

About You

To be successful in the role you will be able to:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop a well-written proposal for employers to communicate an approach to recruitment and present this confidently
  • Confidently reverse market, including cold and warm calling of employers
  • Have strong cultural competency and experience working with Indigenous people and communities
  • Assist to promote and market WRRR activities while closely working with our Marketing Team
  • Possess exceptional people skills and ability to operate in a mature, integral and professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse range of clients, employers and staff

You will also be required to:

  • Have significant experience (at least two years) in a sales or business development role
  • Hold a current SA driver’s licence
  • Have strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite

Remuneration

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging. With the Wellbeing Day benefit, you will still receive the remuneration of a full-time employee in addition to the ability to salary package.
