Inner Brisbane CBD, experienced workers' Compensation Officer required, start ASAP until June 28th 2024
Your new company
Our client is a Local Government Organisation, currently experiencing an increased work load. They require an experienced Workers Compensation officer to join their team on a contract basis.
Your new role
The Workers Compensation Claims Officer will be working in a collaborative team environment building positive relationships across the business.
You will manage a variety of workers' compensation claims with varying levels of complexity from beginning to end.
You will adhere to best practice and compliance with legislation and standards imposed by the Workers Compensation Regulator.
This role will see you liaising with all parties in connection to the claim.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience dealing with and managing claims in an insurer or self-insurer environment. You must have working knowledge and understanding of Qld Workers' Compensation and other relevant legislation.
You will be experienced and skilled at providing excellent customer service and be able to effectively consult, educate and negotiate throughout the claims process.
