EL1 Procurement Capability Officer

Randstad has partnered with a large federal government agency to recruit an EL1 Procurement Capability Officer to join their team. This role is a 12-month contract located in Brisbane CBD, with flexibility to work from home two days a week once onboarded and operational.The EL1 Procurement Capability is responsible for undertaking highly complex work to achieve quality outcomes within procurement functions. This role operates with a significant degree of autonomy to address complex problem-solving and manage issues within procurement. It requires exercising sound judgement to provide high-level policy advice and operational support.Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Leading the Procurement Capability Programme delivery.
• Implementing recommendations from the procurement training needs analysis report.
• Supporting business engagement on procurement principles and strategy.
• Developing engaging procurement content for Agency-wide dissemination.
• Managing Agency-wide procurement communications and notices.
• Cultivating and managing stakeholder relationships through business area engagements and presentations.
• Administering and analyzing the Procurement Capability questionnaire.
