APS6 Grants Officer

A great opportunity for an experienced Grants Officer to join this busy team for a long term 6-month temporary assignment.About the role:

• Providing complex grants policy advice, in accordance with relevant Commonwealth and policies and legislation.
• Providing business partnering support across Agency business areas undertaking grants.
• Maintaining the grants template suite, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
• Preparing grants reports and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting continuous improvement within the Grants function

About you:

• You will have previous experience working in grants administration or grants policy advice
• You will have previous experience working in a government environment – state, federal or local
• You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
• You will have sound decision making skills, and the ability to follow policy and procedure guidelines
• You will have high attention to detail
• You will have good time management skills, and the ability to work to deadlines

• $60.26 per hour + Super
