What You Will Be Doing
The Workforce Health & Immunisation Program Coordinator oversees the screening and Immunisation Program and the Respiratory Protection Program for Peninsula Health employees to ensure compliance with all vaccine preventable disease immunisations. The Program Coordinator also provides a consultancy service for workplace related health issues including but not limited to blood and body substance post exposure management, vaccination requirements and skin integrity issues
affecting the ability to perform hand hygiene.
A key aspect is providing immunisations to the workforce and education of staff about best practice in order to prevent influenza / COVID-19 outbreaks and to minimise risk
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Nurse Immuniser Qualification
• Pre and Post-test HIV counselling qualification / experience
• Proficiency in using data base systems
• Staff health program experience (desirable)

*Please refer to salary circular for NURSES AND MIDWIVES (VICTORIAN PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2020 - 2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
