About the role
Glen Eira Leisure (GEL) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Programs Coordinator to lead and coordinate our diverse range of leisure programs including Stadium Sports, Group Exercise and Benevolent programs.
You will strategically develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring our programs reflect and serve our diverse community. Your financial acumen will be essential in managing and optimising program budgets, while your strategic planning skills will ensure our programs are forward-thinking and aligned with GEL’s overall vision.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Coordination: Efficiently and effectively lead the four Glen Eira Leisure Programs teams, ensuring seamless operation and high-quality delivery.
- Strategic Leadership in Diversity and Inclusion: Provide strategic leadership and development of diversity and inclusion practices and programs within Glen Eira Leisure. Facilitate and implement these initiatives to foster an inclusive environment for all.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and adhere to budgetary requirements, ensuring all programs are financially viable and contribute to the overall financial sustainability of the organisation.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the relevant programs and services, aligning them with the broader goals and objectives of Glen Eira Leisure.

Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated commitment and adherence to organisational values and behaviours.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or related field OR less formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience.
- Experience in the management and roll out of diversity and inclusion policy, programs, strategies and initiatives.
- Strong Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Experience and understanding of Group Exercise programs and/or Stadium sports programs.
