Your opportunity to join our team
In the role of a Workforce Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices to optimise resourcing, planning, and scheduling of staff across our Primary Processing Plant as well as maintaining key KPI's. You'll report to Site Leadership and have regular interaction with key stakeholders across all operations onsite.

Daily Tasks
- Develop the schedule for employees to meet the production plan
- Managing Kronos time-keeping system and maintenance, data entry and daily transfer of hours between departments
- Labour data analysis, e.g. OT and absence patterns and crewing needs to optimise labour costs
- Oversee the 'Leave Plans' and organise leave coverage
- Liaise with staff and set clear expectations
- Be the champion for Kronos within the site & and contact for payroll
- Compiling weekly reports on production performance & and providing recommendations on planning opportunities that can improve Plant productivity
- Ensuring full compliance with regulation policies and procedures to maximise safety in the workplace
- Forecasting Labour and recruitment requirements based on current and future production plans (1-12 months)
You will bring to this role
- Ability to create a positive relationship between the production plan and the allocation of departmental labour
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and evaluate data
- Experience with scheduling of labour in a large and dynamic / production environment
- Experience and knowledge using Resource Management Systems such as Kronos is highly regarded
- Coordination of staff rosters, leave plans and employee records
- Demonstrated knowledge and concepts of labour planning/scheduling
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with proven ability to make recommendations and deliver efficiencies and cost savings
- Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex information, in a structured way cross-functionally
- Ability to tackle multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management, and organisational skills whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Sound business & and financial judgement when making decisions
- Intermediate Microsoft suite, in particular, Excel
