Lotus People are thrilled to be partnering with a public sector organisation in seeking an outstanding Workforce Planning Senior Advisor to join their collaborative and motivated team on an initial 12 month fixed term contract with the view to go permanent. The organisation is located in Sydney CBD close to public transport and offer WFH 2 days a week.
The Role
As the Workforce Planning Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and development of strategic Workforce Planning and talent management tools. This role will collaborate with key stakeholders in order to understand the organisations workforce needs.
The role reports into a down-to-earth manager, who truly values the development of their team. The team has a supportive and fun culture whilst working collaboratively together towards goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic Workforce Planning tools and initiatives
- Undertake research and analysis activities, preparing reports on organisational data to optimise Workforce Planning approaches, and identify future workforce trends and opportunities
- Provide advice on the design and development of new roles and team structures, including gap analysis, capability planning, role description writing, job evaluation and staff mapping
- Contribute to compliance
and quality control of recruitment and onboarding activities - Maintain accurate records of workforce profiling codes to inform planning
Skills and experience:
- Experienced in Workforce Planning
- Experience in public sector recruitment
- Demonstrated experience in developing Workforce Planning tools and initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
