Job description:
Position Purpose
The main purpose of the position is to support the Workforce Planning Manager with analytical work. This work will be a combination or tasks repeated regularly with established tools and process and tasks that are one-off or related to improving processes, tools or output. All analytical work needs to help build understanding of performance drivers and be articulated in "plain English" for an audience who might not be analytically trained or skilled.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting
Working with various stakeholders, review data and produce clear and professional reports with the help of appropriate and validated data source Generate other reports as requested - data development, management, integration and validation.
Data Logs
Assist the team to develop, produce and maintain data logs and adhoc reports related to the Workforce Planning department.
Data Evaluation
Evaluating the data for impacting airport operation, and help the Workforce Planning team in forecasting accurately.
Attrition & Leave Reporting
Ensuring the attrition file and leave planning files are up to date and ensuring staffing levels are kept to agreed parameters.
Data Development
Develop documentation and data flow diagrams to maintain accurate metadata and data lineage.
Scheduling future requirements
Liaise with the Learning & Development department for future induction classes.
Resolve customer issues in a timely manner and escalate formal customer complaints to the manager. Handle customer issues and escalate major complaints
QualificationMandatory
- Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence

- Relevant tertiary qualification

- Ability to support the business in the use of data and information for the identification of opportunities
- Knowledge and experience in the use of Database and BI technologies
- Knowledge and experience in the management of corporate data

- Basic understanding of aviation industry - desirable but not essential
- Highly experiences in the Microsoft Office suite, advanced in MS Excel (including macro development)
