Randstad has partnered with a federal government agency for a Workforce Procurement Officer to join the team. This role is a 12 month contract.Your new role as Workforce Procurement Officer:The role of Workforce Procurement Officer entails responsibility for organising workflow and autonomously making decisions within a specified area. It includes providing specialised policy advice based on established policies and legislation. The position is tasked with conducting moderately to highly complex research, analysis, and advisory work. Adherence to legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents guides the provision of procurement advice. Key duties include:
- Offering administrative assistance to the Procurement team, including the management of confidential and sensitive information.
- Providing advice and support on procurement matters to the wider Agency.
- Offering guidance and assistance to ensure compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules Guidelines, Policy, and procedures.
- Assisting in monitoring value-for-money outcomes and compiling reports based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Creating various procurement-related documents.
- Drafting correspondence and reports, such as emails and letters.
- Inputting, extracting, and manipulating data to facilitate accurate reporting.
- Contributing to team and branch planning efforts, including the identification of opportunities for enhancement.

- Administration and reporting experience
- Experience in procurement, particularly within a Government Agency or Department preferred.
- Capability to comprehend and implement company policies and procedures effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication and interpersonal abilities.
