About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture you will be responsible for all work health, and Safety requirements at Tattarang. This will include designing and implementing appropriate governance and programs for all locations across our diverse group.
The WHS advisor will design and implement the safety management systems and integrate safety into the Tattarang Culture and way of working.
What You'll Do
- Develop and build on the current safety strategy and framework, and design and roll out the Safety systems and processes across the organisation.
- Provide WHS leadership, training, and operational support to all levels of the organization.
- Ensure all WHS processes and procedures are developed and implemented, and where appropriate standardised, across the organisation including a focus on:
- Hazard and incident management.
- Travel safety management.
- Psycho-social risks.
- Emergency preparedness.
- Regulatory compliance.
- Workers’ compensation and injury management.
- Chemical management.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
- 2-3 years experience in a similar WHS Advisor role
- Strong commitment to fostering a culture of safety, well-being and continuous improvement
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, assess and address safety related issues.
- Proficient in WHS legislation and regulatory policy.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of occupational safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role is currently available as a permanent part-time position, 0.5 FTE but if you are looking for a full-time position, and have expertise within Organisational Development, there is the opportunity to combine this with our currently advertised Organisational Development Specialist. Resources would be provided to support a combined role as appropriate for action and execution.
