About the role
We seek an experienced Injury Management Consultant (IMC) to join our growing team within the Perth and surrounding areas. Candidates need a genuine desire to want to help and support people and uphold Working Life’s values – Responsive, Evidence Based and Pragmatic services.
The job involves:
- Full or part time.
- Manage a varied case load including pre-claim support, WA Workers Compensation & Motor-Vehicle Insurance claims.
- Management of an appropriate caseload volume to ensure proactive engagement is maintained and quality service provisioned.
- Engage with all clients and stakeholders in a collaborative manner to facilitate timely RTW.
- Specific services – Workplace Job Analysis, Functional & Ergonomic Assessments, ADL, Vocational & Psychological Assessments as well as Project work.
- Contribute to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

Critical Skills and experience required:
- Qualifications and accreditations – Rehabilitation Counsellor (ASORC), Exercise Physiologist (ESSA), Psychologist (AHPRA), Occupational Therapist (AHPRA), Physiotherapist (AHPRA), and/or Nurse (AHPRA).
- Minimum 1yrs workplace rehabilitation experience
- Demonstrated understanding of working within a multi-disciplinary team and managing several shareholders.
- Evidence of proactive Injury Management experience
