About the Role:
We're offering a 12-month opportunity for a Principal Transformation PMO within our Transformation Office. This pivotal role will lead the coordination of our transformation portfolio, ensuring the successful delivery of its objectives. You'll be instrumental in managing and coordinating inter-dependencies, facilitating issue resolution, and proactively addressing any challenges or risks that arise.
Key Skills and Experience:
In your CV, we'll be looking for:
- A degree in Business or a related field.
- Extensive experience in portfolio/program management and reporting, particularly in overseeing large-scale, complex multidisciplinary programs.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing various portfolio/program methodologies, monitoring and reporting tools, and techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in program and project management, coupled with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
- Establish and maintain the Transformation governance framework and controls for the portfolio, ensuring robust monitoring and control procedures are in place, including tolerance levels and escalation protocols.
- Develop standards, processes, and templates in collaboration with the business to enhance capability and ensure the success of Transformation initiatives. This may involve conducting training sessions focused on timeline and milestone development, rigour testing, and exception-based reporting.
- Provide expert guidance and support to Executive Sponsors, Initiative Owners, and Delivery Leads throughout the portfolio lifecycle.
- Assist the business (Program/Project Owners and Leads) in developing and gaining approval for program and project business cases, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality documents. This includes working closely with the business to establish a clear alignment from problem statements to desired outcomes and benefits.
- Define guidelines for business case estimation and validation, including driving the development and implementation of a benefits framework.
