Role: Workplace Relations Consultant (Industrial Relations)
As a key player in our dynamic team, you will provide expert industrial and employee relations consultancy, shaping the future of our workforce. Here's what your role will entail:
Consultancy Excellence:
- Provide high-level consultancy services to Executives, Managers and their staff, offering insights on Awards, Agreements, and employment legislation.
- Interpret and apply best practices in industrial and employee relations to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Manager Industrial Relations and stakeholders to manage and coordinate Industrial Relations activities, including negotiations, policy development, and award maintenance.
- Offer advice and high-level support in resolving employee complaints, grievances, disciplinary matters, and industrial disputes.
- Liaise with external entities like the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner and Ombudsman to ensure a fair and just resolution process.
- Establish and maintain networks, applying best practices in Industrial Relations across the Tasmanian State Service and beyond.
Multiple permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight commencing ASAP
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

This position can be occupied in the North, North West or South
Salary
$104,756 - $118,730 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

- Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution
- crimes of violence
- sex related offences
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty

- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
