Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Works Coordinator to join our growing company. You will be responsible for controlling the various program of works and associated works including both planned and unplanned maintenance as well as new connections. The Works Coordinator also provides generalist office support and office management including first point of contact for all queries.

Key Responsibilities
- Receipt work orders from the Client, prioritise and respond accordingly.
- Receive and coordinate emergency calls and schedule works as soon as possible;
- Managing all work orders within ERP System, updating live data as jobs are completed and/or status changes.
- Closing out of work orders.
- Upload, process and respond to Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) enquiries.
- Assist with technical information relating to gas mains and service locations as well as asset damage and gas escapes including use of Engineering Drawing Management System (EDMS) and Geographical
- Information System (GIS) Small World asset mapping.
- Respond to all planning and sub-division applications.
- Manage District Plans.
- Evaluate, resolve and respond to all enquiries from replied referrals.
- Maintain documentation detailing any/all agreements with consumers which may be needed to assist with resolution of disputes.
- Response to queries from client(s).
- Management of job costing, client asset information requirements, invoicing, order generation (and similar) within ERP System.
- Support the broader team through the sharing of knowledge and lessons learnt.

About You
- At least 12 months experience in the construction of a natural gas transmission /distribution network
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise programs of works with conflicting deadlines and resourcing requirements with minimal guidance;
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues within very quick timeframes;
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills including ability to negotiate with and placate all stakeholders;
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with client KPIs including monitoring of performance against KPIs;
- Ability to accurately interpret maps and district plans;
- Customer service skills including ability to deal diligently, patiently and professionally with all stakeholders;
- Analytical skill with ability to identify and suggest areas for process improvement and drive efficiency;
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality;
