Works Readiness Advisor

  • This is a PART TIME role working 3 days per week, with flexible hybrid working arrangements after the training period.
  • No rail experience required for this role & Career development is supported within the organisation.
  • Competitive hourly EA rate ranging between $37 - $47 per hour.

About the role

As the Works Readiness Advisor, you are integral to the success of V/Line's Asset Management and performance Group.

The purpose of this position is to facilitate review of planned works on the V/Line network, to ensure the criteria and timelines defined in the relevant procedures are met.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Building professional relationships and engaging key stakeholders of different statures within the organisation.
  • Implementing the Works Readiness Procedure.
  • Coordinating and preparing well-structured reports and dashboards
  • Lead Works Readiness meetings, including taking minutes and agendas, following up of actions, organising meetings and distributing communications.
    Presenting concise and accurate information to management to support informed decision making.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling administrative tasks.

  • Proven experience working in intensive stakeholder engagement roles where you are required to manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer (MS office 365) and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated Written and verbal communication skills.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2019 Current employees are expected to remain in their role for a minimum of 12 months before applying to new positions within V/Line.
