We currently have an opportunity for a Works Scheduler to join our team. You will oversee the planning and coordination of estate upkeep activities.
You will issue Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules, verify work completion, and ensure that Service Delivery Partners (SDP) comply with contractual and industry standards.
What you'll do
The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
- Maintain essential documentation and upload PPM data for record-keeping.
- Prioritizing the scheduling of reactive works to promptly address client needs.
- Act as the main point of contact for issuing Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) works.
- Take the lead in verifying the completion status of monthly maintenance and repair works.
- Systematically review the Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) work plans submitted by the Service Delivery Partners (SDP).
- Graduate certificate in Asset & Maintenance Management
- Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian Citizenship Mandatory)
- Trade Background would be highly regarded.
- experience in a similar field, i.e. work scheduling, estate upkeep, or facilities management.
- Experience working with Service Delivery Partners (SDP) or subcontractors as well as in-house technicians.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Understanding of compliance and industry standards related to property and asset maintenance.
- Ability to interpret and analyse technical data.
- Financial literacy for budget management and cost control.
