Workshop Foreman - Full Time
Our valued client runs and manages a major truck dealership on the border of New South Wales and Victoria. The business has a great working environment with a strong team culture. Staff have a willingness to work together to achieve customer and business targets. The business is driven to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years’ experience in a related role (not essential)
- Proven excellent standards in delivering customer service
- Experience in working with, managing and leading technicians (including off-site and being able to instigate disciplinary actions)
- Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety Regulations
- Solid understanding of OEM Warranty procedures
- Experience in dealing with internal and external business partners and departments
- Proven ability to create strategies and plans
- Be able to present opportunities and manage threats with the Department Manager
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Ensures the highest standard of workmanship is provided to Customers and reworks are minimised.
- Maintains the highest level of housekeeping in & around the Service Shop.
- Ensures all company procedural policies are abided by.
- Ensures timely and accurate technician stories on repair orders.
- Ensures technician efficiency is at the highest level without jeopardising customer confidence and repeat business.
- Ensures the company meets its obligations under the Workplace Health & Safety Regulations
- Ensures all OEM Warranty procedures are adhered to at shop floor level
- Ensure prompt & diligent attention is given to all Safety recall programs.
- Acts on all product upgrade opportunities advised by the Manufacturers.
- Monitors the on-call technicians and review the mobile phone call register.
- Other tasks and duties as directed.
