About the role
We are currently seeking a Workshop Hydraulic Technician to join our team, based in Huntingwood, Sydney.
This position is a hands-on position, responsible for ensuring all orders & service commitments are produced to a high quality and delivered to the customer within the agreed timeframes.
Key Responsibilities for this position includes but is not limited to:
- Assemble Hydraulic and Mechanical components according to internal Processes and Procedures.
- Carry out Testing and Reporting of work Performed.
- Ensure all production builds are produced on time and meet customer expectations.
- Operation of workshop equipment such as Power tools, Drills, Lathes etc.
- Ensure all job file documentation is maintained and processed in a timely manner.
- Comply with ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
- Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Comply with Health and Safety Policies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment conducive to safe & best practice.
- Compliance with the Environmental Protection Act and licensing requirements.
- Arrange service and repair estimates where applicable in a timely manner.
Key Requirements
- Qualification in Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or working experience within a hydraulics or mechanical work environment.
- Previous experience in Hydraulic component repair highly regarded.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and in team environment.
- High attention to detail.
