About the role

We are currently seeking a Workshop Hydraulic Technician to join our team, based in Huntingwood, Sydney.

This position is a hands-on position, responsible for ensuring all orders & service commitments are produced to a high quality and delivered to the customer within the agreed timeframes.

Key Responsibilities for this position includes but is not limited to:

  • Assemble Hydraulic and Mechanical components according to internal Processes and Procedures.
  • Carry out Testing and Reporting of work Performed.
  • Ensure all production builds are produced on time and meet customer expectations. 
  • Operation of workshop equipment such as Power tools, Drills, Lathes etc.
  • Ensure all job file documentation is maintained and processed in a timely manner.
  • Comply with ISO 9001 processes and procedures. 
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Comply with Health and Safety Policies.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment conducive to safe & best practice. 
  • Compliance with the Environmental Protection Act and licensing requirements.
  • Arrange service and repair estimates where applicable in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • Qualification in Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or working experience within a hydraulics or mechanical work environment.
  • Previous experience in Hydraulic component repair highly regarded.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Basic Computer skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in team environment.
  • High attention to detail.
