Position Overview:We are currently seeking a mechanically minded labourer to support our workshop operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mechanics, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced workshop setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of mechanical components and equipment.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate machinery and hand tools under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to maintain product integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a mechanical or technical role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift licence strongly desired
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
