The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Leading Hand to join our dynamic team located north of Adelaide in Edinburgh North. In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the Workshop Supervisor where needed. This is a hands-on role and there is an expectation that you would spend some time on the tools.
Tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Making sure all workshop personnel are working in a safe and healthy manner.
- Monitor productivity of jobs.
- Read, interpret & understand workshop drawings.
- Co-ordinate work for the workshop personnel.
- Have a major shop floor presence.
The successful applicant will have:
- Trade qualified - Engineering Tradesperson – Fabrication.
- Current Forklift License.
- High Risk Rigger & Dogging License.
- Work under pressure.
- Fantastic Organisational skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Safety, Health & Environment awareness, and experience.
