The Exciting Opportunity
Based at our Wingfield workshop, you will have autonomy to manage your team and be supported by well established processes, procedures, managers with extensive experience in the industry and a company history and reputation that spans over 70 years.
You will be responsible for a team of 22 across 2 shifts.
You will have proven ability and experience in the management of team coaching and training, building strong relationships with our customers and ensuring the day to day operations of the workshop is run in a professional and profitable manner.

The role can be classified into the following main categories
- Leadership: Leading a team to deliver the highest levels of customer service for our customers, you will take them on the journey of excellence and professional development and mould the team to deliver consistent business and personal goals and targets
- Safety Champion: Strong ability to champion our HS&E and safety polices and procedures, ensuring the team understand the WHY and the value of a safety culture for positive outcomes and the maintenance of our assets
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of managing expenses and profitability, having ownership of your business unit within the confines of company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role you will have
- Strong communication skills, the ability to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect, and rapport with internal and external networks,
- Self motivated, you will take ownership of your business unit and ensure it is run within the policies and procedures of the company
- Ability to make business decisions, recognise trends and develop recommendations, strategies, plans, policies and solutions that meet individual and organisational needs
- Strong focus and proven ability to instill a strong safety culture
- Heavy vehicle mechanical experience
- Vehicle Trade Certificate
