NEPEAN Conveyors NSW is an innovative provider of fully engineered turnkey conveying and materials handling solutions, from concept to commissioning for some of the world's largest mining companies. Established in 1985, we manufacture and market high powered bulk materials handling conveyor systems and components as well as provide on-site installation, maintenance, and relocation of conveyor installations.
Our Opportunity
To support our ongoing growth, our NEPEAN Conveyors team are searching for an experienced Workshop Manager to join the team. The position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Gulgong, NSW. Daily duties will include however are not limited to.
- Ensure the timely, efficient and safe operations of the workshop
- Co-ordinate workflow in accordance with schedules/project plans
- Oversee workshop staff on a day-to-day basis
- Enforce the correct use of machinery and equipment
- Manage/monitor incoming equipment and materials
- Liaise with engineers, workshop staff, technicians, site supervisors and contractors as required on a project-by-project basis.
- Record and report on workshop progress
The Right Person
To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in workshop management or supervisory role in a manufacturing industry.
- Rights to work in Australia.
- Organisational and time management skills
- Experience in Project Engineering or management desirable
- Attention to detail
- Communicate clearly and concise, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel to Gulong, NSW.
